This purple base spandex has a holographic purple fish scale overlay, it shimmers and shines beautifully with even the slightest movement!
The scales on this fabric are shaped like cut diamonds, the size of each little scale is about 1/4" wide and 3/8" tall.
This print is great for animal-themed projects, including but not limited to reptiles and amphibians like lizards, chameleons, snakes, turtles, frogs, iguanas, crocodiles, dragons, even fish, mermaids, and dragons too - like Spyro cosplays! This fabric is stretchy, keep that in mind when considering the project you are using it for. If you are using it for clothing it is best to use it for apparel that is meant to fit snug against the body. If you are planning to use this fabric for a swimsuit, keep in mind that chlorine, salt water, and oily products like sunscreen or bug spray can damage the metallic overlay!
