Any time someone I know is in the market for party wear or even just a cute new fashion piece, I always recommend Coquetry at the top of my list. The world is so full of junk clothes and fast fashion now that I've really come to appreciate how rare and awesome this shop is. The fabric is always really nice quality and durable (I'm still wearing a dress I bought from Coquetry over a decade ago!), and the stitches are super strong with a nice, sturdy thread. I'm not the nicest to my clothes- unless it's made of tissue paper, it goes in the washer/dryer. And even though the care instructions included with each item DO say "hey please don't do that", I can personally say that every piece I've ever ordered from Coquetry is still going strong.
These new culottes are part of a three-piece outfit I've put together for Pride. I ordered a 2x and fit the measurements in the size chart nearly exactly. I was worried these shorts might be a bit tight in places (an experience I've had other times I'm supposedly in the correct range for a size), but they fit like a dream without any pulling or squishing anywhere. The 15" length is flirty in the back but still protects my thighs from chub rub, something I'm REALLY going to appreciate during the summer. And the moonstone fabric I picked is SO shimmery and cute! The surface of the fabric is a LITTLE bit rough fresh out of the package, but I know from experience that it'll soften after a few washes.
On top of all that, my order got here FAST. And the top I ordered after to match somehow got here even FASTER. That's pretty crazy considering most of Coquetry's inventory is made to order. These folks clearly run a tight ship and care a lot about their product.
