It was made well (and fast!), but just wasn't the right fit for what I needed. The fabric is perfect for performances. I love the opulence of disco but even for me, the showtime collar is BIG and it ended up overwhelming my 5'2 frame a little too much (maybe would have been better proportionally with bell bottoms instead of a legging). Alas, I needed it for an aerial performance, so it would have been too fussy for me to pin down the collar since it would have flopped around and covered my face when I went upside down.
I also needed it to be a second skin fit, so if I were to order again I would actually size down from S to XS! The S technically "fit" since it was the exact measurements of my body while laying flat. But, spandex is intended to stretch so I personally would have preferred a tighter fit so I wouldn't have any wrinkles or loose areas that may get caught during my aerial performance. (For comparison - my other spandex unitards/catsuits are significantly smaller than my body when laying flat so that when I wear them, they hug the contours of my body with minimal wrinkles or gaps in fit). I have a pretty straight frame so I don't have many curves to fill it out :P
It's also my fault I didn't read closely enough that I could adjust the inseam in the Notes section of my order for free. The default length is 32' but I needed a 27' - maybe it would be easier if you could enter your right on the product page just like you choose the quantity of an item so people don't make the same mistake I did!
